WHAT?     A trip is being planned to give the Vietnam Veterans a "RIDE OF HONOR" as they are taken to the State-wide Vietnam Veterans' Homecoming celebration at the Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord NC.

WHO?     All veterans that served in any Branch of the military during the Vietnam era of 1961-1975 are invited. The Veteran does not have to be a combat veteran to go on this trip.

WHEN?     The trip will be on Saturday, March 31, 2012. This day trip will run approximately from 7am - 7 pm with the exact times to be decided and announced shortly. Departure and return will be at Palace Pointe Theater Complex.

HOW?     They will travel by Coach America (formerly Southern Coach of Durham). Medical personnel as well as other persons to act as assistants will be on the trip. PLEASE DO NOT LET THE NEED TO USE A WHEELCHAIR AND/OR OXYGEN KEEP YOU FROM SIGNING UP FOR THIS TRIP. WE WILL TRY TO HANDLE ANY SPECIAL NEEDS.

l Call our Veterans' Project Hotline - 599-0181 and leave your name, address, & phone number and the packet will be mailed to you.

WHAT WILL THIS COST?     There is no cost to your Veterans.

WHO IS SPONSORING THIS TRIP?     The Rotary Club of Roxboro is organizing and sponsoring the trip.

The trip will be a celebration and an honor from the entire community of Roxboro and Person County.
